Hello, dear ones! I hope you have had a lovely week. Let’s talk about some favorite things!
The Bear - My husband and I are super late to a lot of things, and this is no exception, but wow. What an incredible show, even if in 85% of the shots, Jeremy Allen White is pushing his hair off of his forehead. If you are somehow ever further behind the times than I am, you will want to check this out. We will not be waiting a year to watch season two when it comes out.
85% is probably low balling it Speaking of bears… - Go see “Cocaine Bear.” I’ll have a full review here on Tuesday, but it was just an absolute blast and is everything you want out of a movie called “Cocaine Bear.”
Get it, girl. Tetris Trailer - I am super excited about this movie because the story about Tetris is way more fascinating than it has any right to be. If you want to go into the film with a little advance knowledge of the story, this documentary is a great starting point.
Von Blaze’s new menu - This one is pretty hyper specific to people who live near me, but if you’re ever in Morgantown, WV, you will want to visit Von Blaze. They have some of the best sandwiches you’d ever want to eat. Honestly, they inspired me and my husband to do a sandwich tour of the east coast next year to celebrate our 50th birthdays/10th wedding anniversary. But honestly, I don’t know if anything will be as good as what they serve right here at home.
