Best Worst Movies S1E4 She's the Man

Gender swap movies are a little bit of a mixed bag, so when Dianna Anderson mentioned “She’s the Man” as the movie they wanted to talk about, I was a little nervous. But I trust my trans friends not to pick things that are gross, so I trusted them about this movie, and that was a good call.

This is definitely not some high art, but particularly now, as discussions around trans athletes seem to dominate the news every few days, it feels like a deeply timely movie. I had a genuine emotional reaction to one scene that we’ll talk about in the episode.
