When I was approaching people months ago about my bad movie podcast idea, I obviously had no idea that we were going to have A Moment at the 2022 Oscars. And I certainly didn’t expect it to include beloved actor Will Smith. So when Shane and I agreed on “Wild Wild West” for his favorite terrible movie, that seemed like a good idea.

Honestly, I still think it’s a good idea. The movie is fun and awful. It is everything right and wrong about huge summer blockbusters. It has four powerhouse leads and a proven director and still utterly failed. “Wild Wild West” was the official Worst Movie of 1999 as determined by the Razzies. But sometimes the heart wants what it wants.
