Happy Friday, buds! I hope you had a great week. There were a lot of rough things going on in the WV legislature, but here’s what made my week a little better.
Ted Lasso Trailer - I wrote a whole thing about it yesterday, but I’m still just giddy about this trailer. Seeing Nate in that window all by himself? Dead. That final line? Dead again. I’m not a fan of wishing time away, but I need it to be March 15 like, now.
Succession Trailer - The news that this is the last season is was a pretty major bummer, but the trailer has me asking so many questions about what’s coming. What’s the story with Gerri? Is Roman going against the siblings? How are things going to shake out with Tom and Shiv? So much good television happening. (We’re not going to talk about what happens when all of this good television is over and I don’t know what I’m going to do when it is.)
Sally Field’s SAG acceptance speech - What a beautiful speech. I love that she was able to acknowledge her privilege as a cute white woman while not diminishing the work she’s put in to her success. There are a lot of fantastic acceptance speeches from that night, but hers is probably my favorite. Definitely worth the watch.
Frightening Fishes - As I mentioned a few weeks ago, I’ve been really enjoying the show Shrinking on Apple TV+. It just keeps getting better. But I have been a little obsessed with the theme song. Give it a listen.
What has been enjoying? Let me know!
I’m absolutely hooked onto Succession. And like you, having severe deep sighs that it’s ending. But oh... what a family. 🥹💀
