I caught a bit of this theme of guilt too when I watched it. Interestingly I also like how different Mickey 18 is personality wise from Mickey 17 and more so how they acted so differently, especially considering that they are basically genetically identical and share the same memories.

It is often said that the only things we can control in our life is how we react to things that happen to us. And I think here it's a clear demonstration of two different reactions to the same sequence of events that happened to Mickey. In some ways Mickey 18 handled it a lot better.

I love that perspective for Mickey 18! Really good!

I agree with you -- I wanted to love it and there is so much to love, but it gets really draggy in spots where it gets distracted by the subplots.

Yeah, and it wasn't that slow burn of Parasite where you weren't sure where it was going next. It just felt like there were some pacing issues. But still, it's hard to get too mad about anything he does.

Mickey 18 was angry and violent and his first reaction was to kill. It’s funny you would say that is “handling things better” than Mickey 17 who was kind, gentle and caring.
