Am liking Shrinking though shows like this also have me scratching my head at how much support Jason Segal has from friends and colleagues who are tending to his daughter and giving her love and warmth to make up for his inability at times. I just I guess am jealous? Like do people have this??

I am loving this show as well but I definitely see your point here and agree. In reality I hope someone would make a much bigger deal about the danger he is putting his daughter in as far as what she is being exposed to as well as having to parent her parent.

One of the first things I said was: How do these therapists have such kick ass homes as well as such amazing office space?! In CALIFORNIA?! So, some of the show is unrealistic and very focused on aesthetics and other parts feel more “real” than most tv shows.

Also I heart soup dumplings big time

Exactly! The homes, the lifestyles. Houses are always clean but no cleaning crew. Everyone is thin. People have all the time to work and deal with hanging out on a whim without an overpacked schedule. Sign me up!

Shrinking is one of new faves! I love how “real” it all feels for a tv show. From the honest portrayals of grief to the hilarious dialogue, this show feels like it ticks all the boxes. This also might be my favorite role for Harrison Ford “woof”. I love how HUMAN and imperfect Jason’s counselor character is. I’m so glad we found this show.

Seriously. I think the writing is super solid on it. I’m a couple episodes behind (missed last week’s and now a new one today), but I’m loving it!
